Paper Piecing Monkey head.

These monkeys are cute, easy to create and  really quick and easy to assemble.

I love quick projects that use up scraps so there is not so much laying around, or wasted.

These little guys are perfect for cards, scrapbooks, mini albums, tags, gift tags you name it!

Why spend money on items you can create with supplies you have?

Lets get started!

Above are the shapes you need to create a monkey head.

  • One circle
  • One heart rounded at the bottom slightly smaller then circle
  • One oval the width of the circle but 1/3 the height (you can eyeball it)
  • Two smaller circles for the ears

Place the heart on the circle and adhere down with your choice of adhesive.

The oval is placed over the heart on the bottom portion of the face and slightly overlaps the bottom of the circle.

Place the little circles about 1/8, to 1/4 inch above the oval but behind the circle and attach down.

Use a pencil to sketch out a face. The eyes nose and mouth. This is an easy face anyone can make. Get creative make bubble eyes, or the google eyes from the store, here the possibilities are endless as well have fun with it.

Last step trace over your face with an acid free marker or pen. That's it quick and easy!

Now you have a cute little guy to add to your projects or gifts!
