A few goodies for A Friend!

I sent off a few goodies to a friend wo has a challenge going on right now! Go check her out and play along! I humbly declined being part of the challenge I just wanted to play! I hope you like what I created for her! agape4gigi on YouTube!

She loves pink so of course I made my pink flowers for her! and a touch of bling in the center!

I also altered a paper bag to hold said flowers! I used ribbon, one of my flowers, feathers, some beads on a strand, and pink and wite tulle to tie it shut! on the tulle i hooked a chunky charm I made!

Here is a close up of the charm! It was a blast to make!

Sorry it is sideways...lol here is the card I made for Gigi for her Birthday!
I used papers from my stash and a card base from studio G, The pink ribbon is from walmart the butterflies are a sizzix die cut not sure where the stamp is from but I can find out if you like just leave a comment below. the flowers and stamen are from my stash not sure where from got them a long time ago. I used a martha stewart punch on the corners and some bling!

Here is the inside of the card I used left over paper from the front to create a banner, and stamped the sentiment with memento ink tuxedo black. I also used a post it with a personal message on the other side which you can see...lol I got that stamp at tuesday morning.

Below is a picture of all the goodness minus the four pink flowers I showed you first because they are tucked away in the bag! some crochet flowers of mine, a doodad bag and a few trims! She already got the package so I decided to go on and post...lol

have a great week, happy crafting!

Just a quick card share!

Quick and simple card for a good friend!

I started with a premade card base, a tree sticker, a image of Elmer from the net, prisma colored pencils and a stampers best sentiment stamp!

There is an inside joke to this saying so when I saw it I knew I had to have it!

Dwelling Deep in the ocean...

I like to story tell for the kids, a favorite past time around the fire/camp fire at night. This title as an opening can lead to many adventures for kids and adults alike, I like to include a little story with each critter I create. it is usually a paragraph just enough for the kids to use their imagination and give their critter life!

My neice asked for this cutey! How can I say no? I am having way to much fun creating these lol!

I think what I love about these guys is that they each have their own personality...looking at them they tell their own story! look at this gal here...she is aggrevated or moody either way she has a bit of an attitude... this is how stories get started...lol

hope you like her! i know I do and so does my neice. I love watching everyones faces light up with an ear to ear grin when they receive one of these cute critters, even though they know they are coming!

A work of heart...

Crochet flowers take a lot out of you! they are beautiful and awesome to craft with but they use very fine threads and small needles that take a toll on your hands and wrists. Each one truely is a work of heart!

Here are some I have yet to weave the ends in. Usually I do this as i go but Iwanted to crank out a bunch to have on hand...maybe to put in raks or giveaways and craft shows...you never know, I do love to share!
here are a few close up pics of some flowers i have created.

Hope you like them! I like doing them in white because they take sprays very well and you can make them any color you want or need!

Ready for Summer

I am! I am not one for heat and humidity! I do like it warm but not hot! I do however like to grill!!!! No more heating up the house to cook dinner!

The summer is a time where my family spends a lot of time together doing picnics! As many weekends as possible and a little swimming of course!

So...I wanted to use this time of year and dedicate it to drinks, grilling, and sauce recipes! Here and there I may throw in a crafty project or two! Who knows...You just have to check in and see what I have going on!

A bunch of these recipes (grilling) I have gotten from an old cookbook I was gifted with when I got married. If you like A-1 steaksauce some of these may be right up your alley! but you can always replace it with worchestshire sauce just as yummy!

Without further ado here is your first recipe to kick off my summer fun theme!

MIXED FRUIT SMOOTHIE

1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
1/2 orange
1/4 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup ice cubes

Combine all and blend till smooth

Enjoy!
