Beachy theme Birthday card for Jamie!

I hope you like it!

My battery was dying so I had to rush through the video! Sorry for that everyone!

My first paper bag card! I drew inspiration for this from Jamie (scrappinstampers) and also Lydia (Itripledogdareyou) Two very talented Ladies on YouTube! Make sure to run over and check out their channels!

I used my cricut for the sun, umbrella and the beach chair. I put glossy accents on the waves for a little shine... Some glitter glue from studio g underneath the beach chair to accent the ground and have a little dimension...

I made a pinwheel by layering two cuts from my cricut and a coffee straw with a little tiny bling in the center I wanter to add a brad and make it so the pinwheel actually moved but the straw was too small!

I used lace and organza ribbon along the bottom front and inside along with a small yellow ribbon bow.

Yes, I drew the image you see there...the cute little girl holding the pinwheel. I colored her with my spectrum noir markers. It is my first image card with a scene...I am very proud of myself, I thnk it came out so cute...

Let me know what you think! have a great weekend!!

That's a belt????

A new trend...fad...whatever you want to call it! Yes this is a belt...Yes it is made from tabs from the tops of cans be it soda, or beer the family collects these for me and I have loads!

I had a fun time coming up with a pattern for these so they can fit a range of sizes! They are flexible and covered enough so you will not get cut or nicked by the tabs...no sharp edges!!

These are so awesome! I love reusing items for something new...especially if it is useful!

Feeling a bit BATTY?

I AM!...I AM!...I AM!

This is so cute! I have a few of these little ones to make! But I do not mind they are so cute! THis one is for my oldest nephews girlfriend!

She decided  on these colors. They work so nice together, but I will not lie if it wasn't for daylight and my trustee OTT light I would most likely be insane! Dark colors are rough on the eyes!

I love working with all colors even the darks, I usually am drawn to darker colors, go figure!

Here is the latest cutie!

oh my gosh did you happen to see it's tail??? So cute right???

I know it is getting warm but...

I had to share this pretty afghan I finished! I work on it a little here and there and now it is complete! I may even break my tradition and start another instead of waiting til the weather gets chilly again. I forgot how much I enjoy making crochet projects...AT least until I look at my blog and see that crochet out numbers all other projects! lol

I call this "little crown" to me the stitch looks like little crowns. of course you can use one color to as many as you like but I choose to use three...They actually were gifted to me to make a blanket from my sister so I went with it!

I was iffy at first but soon fell in love with both the pattern I chose and the colors. it came out so soft and supple even using Red Heart yarn that can sometimes come across as abrassive and rough!

I love how it came out please let me know what you think!

See what I mean about the crowns? maybe I'm seeing things! lol either way I love it and that's what I'm calling it and i'm sticking to it! lol

Can you tell I got carried away! They are so fun and addicting to make!

Here let me take you on a tour as I flip the pages! Lots of space for journaling and pictures. i did not embellish any of these, I think the fun part is embellishing as you add the photos and journaling.

Hope you like my first attempt I am pretty proud of myself! lol Really love these! Great to gift!

Nick nak boxes

I love creating useful items! And I love nick naks! These little boxes are great to put any little treasures, small gifts, jewlery, coins, office clips you name it!

I love making these they work up redally quick! and I have already gifted a few with raving results!

Super cute, Love them! I didn't do much decorating on these because the people they were made for are utilitarian and like to have them to use not just to look at! and don't want to have to replace fallen off items. Bonus for me I used up some more scraps making these flowers! WOOHOO!!

Fish card

He loved the card! and I love the cute little fish!

Paper piece fish

Something a little FISHY!

A cute and fast project. It is a great embellishment to add to cards, layouts, smashbook, project life you name it! It is small and easy to make with just a few scraps and a couple of google eyes!

Lets get started!

ABove are the tools I used and some adhesive of course.

these are the pieces you need 2 circles contrasting colors or coordinating whatever your preference and  what ever paper you use for the belly you use for the hearts.

This is the placement of the pieces adhere in place. the orange is the belly color!

This is what the back looks like!

now just trim around the base color which is yellow here and add your google eyes!

Clay items I made

These are self explanatory. You push the clay into your mold, pop it out and set it aside to dry!

I love these butterflies! made with a martha stewart mold

This is one of my homemade molds. A telephone!

This owl is so cute, another homemade mold.

Flowers mold by martha stewart.

The fat leaf is my mold and the thin are martha stewart molds.

My homemade rose mold. I really love this one!

These all can be painted and sealed or left natural, I like to color them when I need one that way I always have the exact color i need!

Crochet face cloths (washcloths)

I don't know about you and yours...but...my family can destroy these new washcloths in no time!

I am not sure if they are just being made cheaper or my family is just getting rougher! lol

I like everyone else buy towels and washcloths at a local store, but they seem so thin for the money! I decided I was tired of paying so much for washcloths when I can make them myself for a lot cheapper and they last longer!

So I made myself a pattern and started to crochet.

We love these so much I just purchased some other colors so we can change them out as often as we like and everyone can have their own color of course!

Password Journals

For as long as I can remember I have been misplacing internet site usernames and passwords. I set up a new account for each site, and each one needs a name and password.
we all know it isn't safe to use the same password and we have to change them so often...who can keep up with them???
I know I can't and most people I talk to have this same issue.

This is my solution.

I started with this 89 cent four by six wedding album.

Here is what it looks like from the top.

I put an index card in each sleeve where you would normally put a picture.

This is the paper stack I used to create my books for my mom and my two older sisters.

With a little cutting and gluing a few embellishments here are the password journals. Each one is a little different.

The best part is you never have to replace the book! just the index cards! Keep one on your desk at work, by your home computer, your safe where ever you would like! These are great for people of all ages. Great Gift ideas to make ahead to have on hand or very quick to put together for last minute gifts!!
