Chicken Bake
A one dish meal my family loves, and we are not big on chicken...
- 4 chicken breasts cubed about 1 inch pieces
- 1 can creamed soup (we use celery but any would be delicious we have tried many of them) plus the can of milk if using condensed soup mix together before assemble
- 16 oz bag mixed veggies thawed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or cheddar both are yummy
- 1 pkg. stuffing mix prepared or 6 servings homemade stuffing prepared
Preheat the oven to 350* F.
- in a 13 by 9 pan layer raw chicken, mixed veggies of choice, cream soup prepared, sprinkle the cheese and top with the stuffing.
- do not cover with foil, unless you made homemade stuffing, as it tends to be drier than store packs.
- leave it alone! do not stir after 40-50 minutes take it out of the oven
- Serve.
If you are like me and sometimes are in a hurry this is a great prep before, freeze in baggie, and throw in the crock pot in the morning and at dinner it is ready and waiting.
