A Family Favorite...

Quick and Easy Dessert
Made with Leftover Rice...Yes you guessed it Rice Pudding!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups precooked rice

  • 3 Cups milk (any kind) I use 2%
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • Small pinch salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg


Combine rice, milk, sugar and salt in a medium saucepan.




 Bring to a boil. then lower the heat add vanilla extract. Stir frequently



 Simmer about 30-45 minutes til just about all the milk is absorbed.




 Then remove from heat add cinnamon 
and nutmeg.


 

You can serve it warm or cold whichever way you like it.


We like it Cold with a bit of whipped Cream...Yummmm!
